McGregor uploaded a video to his Instagram showing him topless in yellow shorts and receiving instructions for setting it up.

Then he posted a picture of himself relaxing while enjoying a meal, captioning it "12 hours days." Proper 12 nights."

Filming began on August 23, and the Amazon Prime-produced movie will be released in the early 2023.

The story follows James Dalton's journey as a bouncer who cleans up a bar that is notoriously rough.

Gyllenhaal plays the role in Gyllenhaal’s remake of the UFC fighter who is now a doorman.

It is unknown what McGregor's role will be and if it will be as a fictional character or as McGregor himself.

It has also put an end to his plans to return to UFC this year, with his comeback bout now scheduled for 2023.

McGregor, 34, sustained a terrible leg injury in his fight against Dustin Porier (33) in July 2021.

The ex-two-division champion spent the year recovering from the horrific injury.

It allowed him to use his talents on the big screen, Tim Simpson of Paradigm Management revealed.

Simpson said to MMA Junkie, "A fun little venture then switching over to climbing the mountain again.

It fits perfectly. He is still on track to make a huge return next year.
