CONOR MCGREGOR lost his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier, ending in yet another defeat to the American.
The MMA star met The Diamond in July at UFC 264's main event for a rubber match.
After suffering a terrible leg injury, the Irishman was unable to exact his revenge on his featherweight rival.
After a successful leg operation, McGregor has been back in training and the attention has turned to McGregor's fight.
SunSport felt it was only right to share the information about the five men The Notorious will be fighting next.
DUSTIN POIRIER (AGAIN).
After McGregor's shocking loss in the first round of their trilogy fight, it feels like the rivalry isn’t over.
Both the fighters continued their argument in post-fight interviews and at the press conference. There's no love lost.
Both have said they are eager for the fourth installment, which will excite the fans even further.
Poirier will challenge Charles Oliveira for Charles' lightweight belt. However, McGregor could take the strap to a fourth bout.
Nate Diaz
Their 2016 back-to-back battles will always be a link between McGregor and Nate Diaz.
Fight fans want a series decider between these two fighters, who were matched at UFC 196.
It would be an understatement to say that trash talkers are not done with their business.
In recent years, Diaz's interest has waned in a trilogy with The Mac.
However, both men are currently on two-fight skids so it is easy to see why now would be the right time for them to settle the score.
Conor McGregor's and Nate Diaz’s series are level at 1-1
Justin Gaethje
Justin Gaethje is now the odd man out at the stacked lightweight division. This is strange considering that he was the last to lose to Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Gaethje, a fan favourite, is eager to return to the cage to pursue his lightweight title. He lost it last October at UFC 254.
The Highlight can't get a better chance at the belt than to win against the former champion.
A Gaethje vs McGregor matchup is stylistically a fan's nightmare.
You can't go wrong with the legitimate beef of the couple.
Rafael dos Anjos
Rafael dos Anjos, a former lightweight king, has been through a lot when it comes to landing a fight against McGregor.
The Brazilian was twice matched against Mystic Mc, their first meeting having been scheduled for UFC 196.
Injury nixed the pair's champion-versus-champion bout and their proposed interim welterweight title fight was scuppered by McGregor's rampage at the UFC 223 media day in April 2018.
RDA is now within reach of McGregor's worst run in his 13-year-long career.
Although MMA enthusiasts would not bat an eyelid at the fight if they had to, it would be difficult for casual viewers.
Jake Paul
If McGregor decides to give boxing a try again, it is possible that he will be fighting YouTube star Jake Paul.
Paul, the younger brother to Logan, is a social media sensation and has been actively seeking a fight with Ireland's first UFC champion.
Paul made great efforts to get McGregor's attention by insulting his fiancee with an x-rated call out video.
He was able to win in August against ex-UFC champion Tyron Whiteley, and he has a solid record.
