Internet Sensation KSI's Influencer Boxing Promotion Faces Criticism

UFC president Dana White has strongly criticized Misfits Boxing's claim that their recent PRIME card garnered over a million pay-per-view buys. The influencer boxing promotion, founded by internet sensation KSI, held a highly anticipated event in Manchester last October. However, White emphatically rubbished the rumored number.

Stacked Card Included KSI vs Tommy Fury and Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis

The Misfits Prime card featured a stacked lineup, including a headline bout between KSI and Tommy Fury. Logan Paul, another internet personality, co-main evented the show against Dillon Danis. It was reported that the event generated 1.4 million pay-per-view buys, a number that White finds hard to believe.

Dana White Challenges Pay-Per-View Numbers

White expressed his skepticism about the reported numbers during an interview with the Nelk Boys. He stated, "I haven't heard about anybody selling a lot of pay-per-views lately. Let me tell you how hard it is to sell 1.3 million pay-per-view buys. And if you did sell 1.3 million, if you sold 700,000 pay-per-view buys, they'd be putting on fights 10 times a year. When you hear those kinds of numbers fly around the pay-per-view world, they're lying motherf*****s. Don't ever believe that s**t."

Influencer Boxing Scene's Popularity Confuses Dana White

Despite the lack of skill and technique in the influencer boxing scene, it has gained immense popularity among Gen Zers. Dana White, like many others, can't understand why. He expressed his frustration, stating, "Anybody who's been on any of these f***ing horrible boxing shows. And I like Logan [Paul] and some of these guys that are involved in this s**t, if you come out and you say you did 1.3 million pay-per-view buys on your event, you're lying through your f***ing teeth."
