Dana White Squelches Rumors Of Ronda Roussy UFC Comeback: "No Shot She Ever Fights Again"

Ronda Rousey's Shocking UFC Return?

There have been whispers in the MMA world about Ronda Rousey making a comeback to the UFC. The former women's bantamweight champion, who was the first woman ever signed to the premier promotion, is rumored to be eyeing a sensational return at the historic UFC 300 card in late March or April.

No "Rowdy" Return

However, UFC president Dana White has swiftly shut down any hopes of Rousey returning to the octagon. In an interview with Sports Illustrated, White stated, "There's no shot. She's accomplished everything she set out to do." It seems Rousey's dream has been fulfilled, as she wanted to win a UFC championship and a WWE championship, both of which she accomplished. White also mentioned that Rousey is now focused on starting a family and is still making a lot of money through sponsorships.

Rousey's Past and Regrets

Rousey, who retired after suffering a devastating loss to Amanda Nunes in just 48 seconds back in 2016, faced criticism for leaving the sport without a proper goodbye. Reflecting on her decision, she admitted that it was difficult to walk away from both judo and MMA. She explained that she felt pressure from others who wanted more from her and that she ultimately made mistakes by continuing in the sport when she no longer wanted it for herself.

UFC 293 Coming Up

As fans eagerly anticipate news of UFC 300, this weekend offers another exciting event with UFC 293. The card will feature a middleweight title fight between defending champion Israel Adesanya and rising star Sean Strickland.
