The Brazilian hopes for a similar outcome in their London clash at the SSE Arena

Lima, a fan favourite, has been slow to start the five rounds in his two previous fights against Yaroslav Mousasi and Yaroslav Amosov.

The Brazilians plan to erase all traces of these outings by a remarkable return to form.

SunSport spoke with Bellator's 170-pound No.1 ranked fighter: "If they keep doing it, they'll say that I'm passive fighter." This is not how I fight.

"I just have to prove them wrong and prove myself."

"Because it's not all about what people say. It's all about me. I am also critical of myself.

"I enjoy performing, I like being well-performed and I like fighting aggressively and finishing fights."

Lima, who is 34 years old, has been reflecting on his losses to Amosov, a welterweight, and middleweight champion, and has taken a lot of time for self-reflection.

He said, "These two fights haven't been my style." I looked awful. I admitted it to myself.

""You have work to do right now. That image must be gotten out of people's minds.

"But it's something I have worked on. It's been a lot of mental work.

"But I feel great and this fight will be different from the previous two. This is certain.

Lima, despite being on a two fight skid will be buoyed in 2019 by Page's knockout.

It will not be easy to win a second victory against the resurgent Londoner in enemy territory.

Lima, however, is relishing the chance to add another dagger in Page's title aspirations.

He said, "I'm excited about it." It doesn't bother me that I'll fight in his backyard.

"If there's pressure, I'm sure there is more pressure on him."

"Because he has to perform in front the entire crowd. But I feel great.

"Like I have said before, fighting in foreign countries is what I love to do.

"Even though I'm fighting the guy's country and I'm fighting within their backyard. It doesn't bother me."

Lima will be able to rematch Amosov with a convincing win over Page.

Lima will return to his aggressive style against Michael Page.

That's exactly what The Phenom intends to deliver.

He stated that he would do everything possible to get him out of his misery. If it's standing, it can be placed on the ground.

"I just want to get to the finish. I don’t enjoy going the distance and I don’t like leaving it in judges’ hands.
