DUSTIN POIRIER has ended all talk of an imminent retirement after his heartbreaking loss at Charles Oliveira. However, he will be considering his future in the 'next few' days.

Poirier (32), has been unable to defend his title fights twice, but he has denied that he is ready to quit the sport.

He said, "It's only do I want to. This is the question I need to ask myself in the mirror.
"Do you want to do it again?" Are you willing to take that same road again?
"And that answer will be in the next couple of days, next few weeks.
Let it go and let the next thing happen.
"But if it's my heart and I want to do that, I'll fight for another world title."
Poirier is sadly used to being the bridesmaid, but he insists that he will not let his recent setback affect him.
He stated, "I'm no stranger to his type of position."
"No one wants to lose, but I just get used to learning. It was the fight game.

"I try not to cry at another press conference, and I'm trying to keep my hands from crying in front of you guys.
But I will continue doing what I do.
