JAKE PAUL is a versatile man in the boxing industry.
According to SunSport, he will fight Tommy Fury (brother of heavyweight champion Tyson) on December 18, in Miami.
Jake Paul, YouTube star and boxer, is now 4-0
Paul is the underdog in the betting and will face his first opponent with professional boxing experience.
The YouTube sensation has been unbeaten in four fights and has proven that he can deliver knockout power.
SunSport examines five possible opponents for Paul after the bookies win.
Conor McGregor
Paul, 24 has pursued McGregor's fight relentlessly, who lost his pro-boxing debut to Floyd Mayweather (44), in 2017.
Even after receiving a $50million offer from the Irishman, the Irishman has not yet engaged or acknowledged Paul on social media.
McGregor will soon be back in competition after sustaining a terrible leg injury in his fight to Dustin Poirier (32) in July. Boxing will make it easier.
If the mega-money is not yet being fronted by the UFC champion, then the former champion might feel that the deal is too good for him to refuse.
Jorge Masvidal
The pair had previously trained together before Paul defeated Ben Askren, Masvidal's rival, in April.
Their relationship ended when Paul signed to fight, and then beat, Masvidal's friend and training partner Tyron Woodley, 39.
Masvidal was later called out by the internet celebrity Masvidal. He is open to accepting, but only after his UFC career ends.
The UFC president may give his blessing sooner than expected if the price is right.
Anderson Silva
Silva, 46, was released last year by the UFC after three consecutive losses. However, he made a transition to boxing where he was already 1-1.
He defeated Julio Cesar Chavez (35-year-old ex-boxing champion) and then knocked out Tito Ortiz (46, formerly of UFC) in just one round in September.
Silva opened the door for Paul and Logan to fight, but negotiations did not go far.
Brazilian striker is an experienced one. He has the size to match Paul, but he does not speak English well. His age can leave anyone with more to lose than to gain.
Tyron Woodley rematch
Although there was little debate about August's result, Woodley felt that he had done enough to win.
The pair had previously bet that the loser would get their name tattooed on them. Paul however promised a rematch if this wager was honored.
Woodley has now had the tattoo on his finger since then, which helps to build demand for a second fight.
It could be a good way to generate interest in a rematch if the former champion of UFC was able get a win in his ring.
Rematch Tommy Fury
Millions of dollars have been already made without Fury and Paul getting a punch.
Pay-per-views and ticket sales are almost certain to be a success. This means that no matter what the outcome, there is always the possibility of a rematch.
It would be more likely for the A-side that Paul loses and then demands a rematch.
However, Fury, 22 years old, is not stunned and the fight was thrilling enough to rule out a two-partner.
