UFC's star Brian Ortega was severely injured in his shoulder and lost the fight to Yair Rodriguez in New York.
After his shoulder had popped out of its socket, the 31-year old gave his featherweight opponent the win.

Ortega's shoulder burst out of its socket, and he fell to the ground in pain.
Ortega was unable to continue the UFC featherweight competition and Ortega was immediately removed from it.
Ortega wanted to get out of an armbar after he had fought with Rodriguez.
Although he was able to accomplish this, rather than press ahead with El Pantera strikes, he instantly fell to his back.
The fight was called off quickly, much to the dismay of both the fighters and the commentators.
Cormier immediately blurted as Ortega fell on the canvas.
Paul Felder was deeply disappointed by the abrupt ending. He said, "Oh no!"
Jon Anik stated that "About as anticlimatically a major event could end." Brian Ortega appears to have pulled his shoulder out.
Cormier, who had reconstructed the exact moment it occurred on replay, commented: "Watch him pull out of the armbar. It's there, you can see it! The shoulder can be seen."
The contest ended in a bittersweet manner, with both men landing massive punches.
Ortega confirmed Ortega's dislocation following the fight and said that he might now need to have surgery on his shoulder for the third time.
He said, "I'm so f ****** sorry. This is how it happened. This thing happened, and I was determined to continue.
"I have already had two shoulder surgeries. Who knows, I may need another one.
"We were stuck in a situation, and his body was tight. I don't know why it yanked. I wasn't in danger of being submissive. I tried to free my leg, but my arm just popped out.
"Yair, congratulations. If you don't win the title fight or anything else, let's make it right.
"I want us both to let it all go here. Because that's what I came to do.
Rodriguez could be eligible to compete for Alexander Volkanovski’s featherweight belt in the second half of this year.
According to Ortega, the 29-year old said he is open to a rematch but prefers a world title.
He said, "It's unfortunate that he dislocated the shoulder or something else." I told him that we could do it back at any time.
"We can do it, but I'd rather be in a position like this than for a championship." It's unfortunate."
Both Ortega and Rodriguez landed massive blows during the contest that lasted only one round.
Ortega needed urgent medical attention after he dislocated his shoulder.
