Irish MMA fighter Keith Coughlan, 26, was killed in a horror scooter accident in Bali two weeks after his first fight.

A horror scooter accident in Bali claimed the life of an IRISHMAN.

On Sunday morning, the victim, identified locally as Keith Thomas Coughlan (26), was found unresponsive at North Kuta.

After crashing his scooter into a ditch, the Irish native, a MMA fighter, died.

A local walked along the North Kuta Road and found him unresponsive at 5 AM on Sunday morning.

The local man used his smartphone's flashlight to spot Keith's legs underneath the scooter wreckage.

He was not saved after a recovery operation.

Keith won his first MMA fight just a month before, while competing at Canggu Fight Night 23.

The Department of Foreign Affairs confirmed that they are aware of the incident.

A spokesperson for the department stated that it was providing consular assistance to his family.

According to the spokesperson, "As with all consular matters, the department doesn't comment on specific cases."
