YouTuber-turned-Boxer Set to Make MMA Debut with the PFL
Jake Paul, the internet sensation turned professional boxer, is gearing up for his highly anticipated MMA debut. However, he's not too pleased with Nate Diaz's response to a $10 million rematch offer.
Paul, 26, recently signed with the Professional Fighters League (PFL), a rival promotion to the UFC. Following his ten-round points victory over former UFC star Nate Diaz, 38, in August, both Paul and the PFL have expressed interest in a rematch inside the cage.
However, Diaz has shown little enthusiasm for the idea, claiming that a deal had already been agreed upon for a return in the boxing ring. Paul, on the other hand, denies this and insists that the rematch must take place in the MMA arena.
"Begging and Desperate": Paul Slams Diaz's Response
Speaking to MMA Junkie, Paul expressed his frustration with Diaz's reaction to the proposed rematch. He said, "I don't know, I think they're just begging. Pretty desperate, I guess. Wanting to make money but not actually wanting to make things happen."

Paul is determined to make the rematch happen in MMA, where he is set to make his debut in late 2024. He even offered Diaz a staggering $10 million, which is more than he has ever made for an MMA fight.
He criticized Diaz's behavior, stating, "He's sitting there asking for more money, basically drunk tweeting random s\*\*\* and random fight posters, making himself look like a fool."
Paul's MMA Debut and Upcoming Fight
While Paul awaits his MMA debut, he is staying busy in the boxing ring. He is scheduled to face 10-1-1 professional boxer Andre August on Friday, December 15.
Paul is excited about his transition to MMA and plans to showcase his Ohio Wrestling roots by incorporating knees, kicks, and takedowns. He believes that Diaz is hesitant to accept the challenge due to the tough fight it would pose to his MMA reputation.

Paul's determination to make fights happen and his transparency in negotiations have set him apart in the fight game. He's not afraid to take on anyone, anywhere, anytime.
So, will Diaz finally accept the rematch offer and step into the MMA cage with Jake Paul? Only time will tell.
