DJ Francesco Facchinetti alleged Conor McGregor punched him

Police were called to assist the Irishman who allegedly engaged in a scuffle while he was attending an event at the St Regis Hotel in Rome.

Paul, a YouTube boxer turned star, quickly took aim at the alleged incident.

He tweeted: "Conor loves to be a tough guy with musicians... Conor, please do something when I see you! "

McGregor, 33, along with his partner Dee Devlin, have been in Italy for the christening in the Vatican of their youngest child Rian.

The trip is set to end on a low note with Facchinetti (41), and Wilma Faissol (39), making the claims to their 1.5million combined Instagram followers.

Facchinetti uploaded a video reliving the incident and showed cuts to both his lips.

Wilma also shared several Instagram stories in which she accused the fighter of attacking her husband and feared he would be killed.

Although it is not clear what caused the alleged melee, SunSport reached out to McGregor's team to get their thoughts.

According to Italian Police, they arrived on the scene at 5.30am following an incident.

McGregor was not contacted by police but "may be" in the coming days as the DJ plans on filing a formal complaint in Milan.

Facchinetti is also a radio and TV personality in Italy. He told his one million Instagram followers: "I could be quiet but someone like him who pulls off a punch, think about what could happen."

He said that real fighters don't behave as that and accused the Irish star for punching him "for nothing".

The DJ said that he was a hero, but instead he is a bully of a worst kind...

"He is dangerous and must be stopped. I now understand why he had 20 guards. He was not there to defend himself from other people, but to protect others from him."

Wilma also took to Instagram to accuse McGregor of cheating her.

She said, "He could have killed himself, he split His lips and nose,"

Wilma claimed McGregor's bodyguards had McGregor held back because McGregor "wanted to continue beating Francis".

McGregor's team provided them with hankies to wash the blood, before McGregor and her husband were told to exit through the side doors of the hotel.

A NOTORIOUS PAST

Wilma said, "I was crying, and I was shaking. We called the ambulance and police."

McGregor was previously in trouble after punching a man in The Marble Arch Pub, Dublin in August 2019.

After Desmond Keogh had refused to take a shot of whiskey, the ex-UFC champion allegedly hit him.

He was convicted for assault and sentenced to pay a PS860 fine. Then he spent PS1.75million to buy the pub.

McGregor fought Dustin Poirier 32 in July. He was the first man McGregor beat in 2014. McGregor lost their January rematch.

McGregor suffered a severe leg injury in the UFC 264 trilogy bout. He was then stopped by a doctor.

He returned to America for surgery in Los Angeles, where he continued his recovery process. After that, he went on holiday with his family in Europe.
