Jorge Masvidal already has his sights set on a rematch against Colby Covington
Masvidal was devastated by his defeat, but he insists that the feud with Covington will not end and will do everything necessary to make it right.
He replied, "Definitely; I'm going and earn it though knocking out other people."
"Eventually, I'll be in front [Kamaru] Usman. Right now, I am far from that, probably two to three fights away.
"But I love the work and I love to fight. As long as I can hold my own in the gym I'll be back there."
Masvidal, 37 years old, was defeated twice by UFC champion Usman (34), first on points, then brutally knocked down.
This means that after losing to Covington, 34 he is now on a three-fight losing streak.

UFC President Dana White doesn't know what the future holds for either Covington or the American, who won the fight in five rounds.
White stated, "I don’t know, that’s a good question." We knew tonight that whoever lost would ask, "What would be the next?" and "Where would they go?"
"And I don’t know. I’m sitting right here right now and I don’t know. Colby won, but neither one of them.
Covington has lost twice to Usman. However, if he refuses down to lightweight, an unlikely trilogy could be in his future.
White stated: "Listen, White, if he remains at 170, and he keeps winning. You've eventually got the kid to give a shot again."
