Covington claimed Masvidal had 'deleted' Maritza Collado's ex-wife, and called him a deadbeat father' in advance of Saturday's fight.

Maritza, Jorge Masvidal's estranged wife, was caught up in the drama after Colby posted an image with her on Instagram.
Jorge claimed that Colby was the one who let her live on her couch.
Although not much information is available about her, since she deleted all of her social media accounts, it is believed that she is between 35-40 years old.
Covington stated that Jorge doesn't want people to know anything about Maritza. She goes by the name Collado.
Maritza and Jorge got divorced?
Rumours say they were married and have split up, despite not being covered by the media.
This belief is in contradiction to Colby Covington’s recollection, who claimed that they are still legally married.
Colby also accused Maritza of cheating on Colby while they were together, despite her being his mother.

Jorge Masvidal is the father of three children. However, it is not clear who the mother is.
He is believed to have divorced his ex-wife, Iman Kawa (sister of Malki Kawa, MMA agent), in 2019.
Covington, however, claimed Jorge "gave Maritza two children and now he's a deadbeat father."
Masvidal is reluctant to reveal the names or ages of the children, and prefers to keep them private.

They were best friends, room mates, and then became bitter rivals. Now they will be facing off in a fierce grudge match.
Masvidal and Covington are both two-time challengers for the welterweight title.
