Page believes that the rematch will only be possible because Lima has lost his last two matches in succession

Since he was knocked out at Bellator 221, Page, a mysterious and charismatic fighter, began to chase a rematch against Lima.

Lima was initially reluctant to accept the fight but he accepted it after going 1-2 in three of his previous bouts. Page believes that Lima's performance had been forced by his skid.

SunSport MMA asked Londoner if he was surprised that Lima had accepted the fight. He replied: "Not really.

"It's because he doesn't know where else to go.

"His entire thing was, "I don't merit the title" because I must fight this person or another.

"But now he don't have title anymore, lost two on the trot, and he kinda needs a name such as me to bring him back."

Lima, a three-time champion at welterweight, will try to regain a match with Yaroslav Amosov by winning an emphatic win over Page.

After years of waiting, Page feels that the tables have finally turned after he was able to reach the American Top Team standout once again.

He stated that he felt like he needed me to help him after his two losses.

"It makes sense to roll the dice for this fight now, rather than in the past."

Page, 19-1 will have the chance to make amends for the only blemish in his record before his friends and family at home.

MVP was happy with the outcome, even though his chance at redemption was not as quick as he expected.

He stated, "It's worked absolutely perfectly.

"There are many people who support me in my journey and are invested in this fight.

"And I believe it's going to add to that occasion and add to that atmosphere.

"To be fair I've seen some amazing shows in London. The Cyborg fight was a great show. It was so energetic.

"And when I saw Rickels fight, it felt even louder.

"And this is the first time I can imagine the energy that will be there.

Page relishes the chance to settle the scores with Lima at home

"But I'm going to feed on it all. This is especially after the two years of prohibition that everyone has endured in order to not be allowed to participate in such events.

"I believe everyone is looking forward to that."
