In the lead-up to the fight, The Notorious admitted that he had been suffering from a broken leg.

New footage from the aftermath of the fight shows that UFC chief White quickly made his way to the Irishman, as he lay against the fence.

McGregor looked at White while White was being treated for his leg and said, "I have been dealing with it all camp.

"I had been dealing it all camp. But I wasn't sure that anything would happen.

"I had him there."

This footage is less than a month since McGregor claimed White and UFC's medical staff knew that McGregor was going to Sin City Series decider with stress fractures.

He stated that he was hurt going into the fight. People keep asking me when the leg was broken.

"Ask Dana White. Ask the UFC. Ask Dr Jeff Davidson.

"They saw that I had stress fractures in my leg before I was allowed to enter the cage.

"We were discussing pulling out as I was sparring without shinpads. I kicked a few knees a few times and had multiple stress fractures in my leg.

"And then, I had problems with my ankle anyway over the years because of fighting all the times.

"I used to wrap my ankle each training session.

"Even though it was painful, I didn't quit training."

Dubliner said: "I had to have treatment for my leg, and I wouldn't have committed to going under a knife unless this happened."

"I got exactly what I wanted and I only needed a titanium shinbone. It's now unbreakable. I feel like Arnie from Terminator 2.

McGregor, 33 years old, will be out the cage for the next 12 months, but he is expected to resume training full-time in April.

White stated that Conor has been out for one year during a appearance on The Pat McAfee Show.

"The doctor stated that it would take nine months for him to start training again. We're considering it a year.

"I don't even think about it."
