After raising her hand, she made her way to her parents, who hugged her star.
They kept repeating how proud they were of their daughter.
The battle between the women was closer than their first encounter.
Namajunas won a first round KO against her Chinese opponent in April.
However, the judges ruled in her favor, scoring the close-fought fight 48-47 and 47-48.
Halle Berry, the legendary actress from Madison Square Garden gave her her belt.

Kamaru Usman, welterweight champion, retained his title with victory in the grudge match against Colby Covington in New York.
The opening rounds were dominated by Usman, who was making his fifth defense of the title at welterweight.
After a headbutt, Covington received a cut to the face.
He was twice knocked down in round two, but he managed to hang on until the buzzer.
However, Usman was unable to take advantage of the situation and Covington won his way back in to the contest.
In the fourth round, the challenger was strong and tagged the champ multiple time.
Both fighters tried to get it in the fifth round. However, neither was able land the decisive blow. In the end, it was the final round.
