Tyron Woodley, an ex-UFC star, trained Denzel Washington in The Equalizer II before he was floored by Jake Paul

TYRON WOODLEY was a trainer for Denzel Washington, the Hollywood legend and star of The Equalizer II.

Woodley is the UFC's welterweight champion at that time. Lin Oeding is a friend.

Oeding was his friend and he gave him the opportunity to work with Oscar winner Washington at Equalizer II.

Woodley has appeared on numerous TV and movie shows as both an actor and as himself.

Since March's defeat to Vicente Luque (30), in March, the 39-year-old part-time rapper hasn't fought in UFC. This was his fourth loss on the bounce.

The UFC left him to pursue boxing, but he was defeated by Jake Paul, a YouTube star, over eight rounds in August.

Paul was set to fight Tommy Fury (22) in Florida, but Fury pulled out with a fractured rib and a chest infection.

Woodley was actually filming Netflix's Cobra Kai when he was called to replace Fury (22), but was then brutally eliminated in the rematch.

He stated, "Me and him can fight ten times. You guys don't recognize you're in the movie, this movie is Rocky.

"This is a real Rocky. I was filming a movie and my phone is always on. I would get fired on my day off if it rang.

"But I was on break when I received a call to clear up the air regarding the 'no knockout clause'.

"If I wasn’t on break, then that would have prevented me from getting the call. You know what I mean?

"If I had waited and dragged my feet, I wouldn't have been able to take the chance."

"I am just grateful that I was in good shape and had worked hard, and I have cut my mind in savage fashion."
