In their first clash, The Last Stylebender won a spectacular second round KO of Whittaker

Two-and-a half years ago, the Aussie was brutally defeated by Kiwi Adesanya, a Nigerian-born Kiwi.

He was unable to say The Reaper more emphatically the second time around and had to accept a unanimous victory.

Adesanya was determined to surpass the UFC 243 finish that he achieved with Whittaker in his second fight.

SunSport asked him about the possibility that he might overlook his foe and he replied: "That hasn't been the case this year."

"It has actually motivated me to do it again and make it more decisive, if it's possible. It is, and I believe it.

"That's why I'm here for this fight. That's what motivated me to do it.

"Was to repeat it in a more destructive fashion."
