UFC bantamweight Douglas Silva de Andrade won despite a terrible first round and a painful cut to get his second win.
On Sunday morning, Sergey Morozov, American Top Team star, fought the Brazilian in a duel at UFC 271 Houston.
He also secured one of the most significant wins in his UFC career, by crushing his Kazakh foe OUT CLIM in round 2.
Unlike Morozov, the MMA vet looked very tense in the beginning doors, and it was evident with his striking.
After being hit with a severe uppercut, he found himself on his stomach fighting off vicious ground and pound.
Morozov immediately got to work, and made a horrible cut on Silva de Andrade’s head using a nasty elbow.
Silva de Andrade survived the storm, but Silva de Andrade ate a wonderful spinning back kick to his body before being taken out.
Silva de Andrade stormed out of the second round and dropped Morozov with two brutal rips to his body.
After a short interval after an accidental eye poke, Morozov was back on the canvas thanks to a large right hand.
Silva de Andrade, a confident and jacked woman, landed a perfect spinning back fist. He then followed it up with two bad knees.
Morozov was repelled by a beautiful elbow and Silva de Andrade was compelled to help him.
After jostling for position he settled in a nasty back-naked choke, which separated Morozov's consciousness.
Silva de Andrade, elated after the fight interview, said: "I love Houston. Yes, nice, let's go."
He said, "I had a difficult first round, but I came back and did the right thing." That's the Fight of the Night, and Performance of the Night bonuses.
Dana White, I deserve $100K. Fight of the Night, Performance of the Night, that's the bonus I want. I am waiting for my [next] opponent."
