COLBY COVINGTON declared that he was the King of 305 as he returned to stage after his fight with Jorge Masvidal.
To get back into the win column, the former interim welterweight champion defeated his old friend in Saturday's main event at UFC 272.

Covington was in a happy mood as he returned to the stage following his unanimous victory over Gamebred. He roared off camera, "I run f***ing305!"
"I am the king of all 305."
Masvidal was dominated by Covington's wrestling for five rounds straight, but he was hurt and dropped in the fourth.
Chaos was not impressed by his performance in the Battle of the 305.
He stated that it wasn't his best performance. It was a lot of emotion.
"That was a friend of mine at one time in my career. ... I allowed my emotions to take over.
It was still dominant. "I showed the world how great I was."
Covington won his grudge match against Masvidal and was able to return to the win column, which he had lost to Kamaru Usman at UFC 268 last October.
He's determined to settle another feud, aiming for a showdown against former team-mate Dustin Pourier.
He stated, "I just took care Miami street trash. Now it's time for Louisiana swamp trash.
"Where are you Dustin Poirier? You cuck, you said that it's on-sight. Name the site.
"Dustin bring down your wife, and bring the little child that caught us in, and I'll be seeing you soon, you are next."
Poirier is currently on vacation in Jamaica and responded to the callout via Twitter with: "Bombaclot!"
