KAMARU USMAN may be considering a three-fight with Colby Covington.
The Nigerian was present at UFC 272 Saturday, where Covington defeated Jorge Masvidal in five rounds.

The 34-year-old Usman has twice defended his welterweight belt in front of Masvidal and Covington.
The latter might have managed to keep himself in the title picture by Saturday's win.
Usman spoke octagon side after the event and said, "UFC 272 was over, as I expected. However, I knew that Covington’s wrestling would be the big difference."
"Masvidal had his moments, but Covington did his own thing.
"So, you're sure, maybe down the road, I smesh."
In December 2019, Usman defeated Covington via fifth-round knockout.

After further defenses against Gilbert Burns and Masvidal, he defeated Colby via decision at UFC 268 in November.
Brit Leon Edwards is expected to meet Usman in July, provided that he recovers from his hand surgery.
He then fantasizes about Canelo Alvarez after Edwards.
Usman stated last week that he was telling everyone, "I'm going out there to stop Canelo." It is up to me to believe it. I must be the one who steps in. It doesn't matter what everyone says.
Covington, a 34-year old, fancies a shot alongside Dustin Poirier. He called The Diamond out in his postfight interview.
However, UFC president Dana White isn't so fond of the idea.
He stated, "You fight Poirier and then you what?" He must follow a certain direction."
White, 52, expressed more optimism about Covington's chances at another shot at Usman. He said: "If he keeps at 170 and continues winning, then eventually you have to give him a shot again."
