He is also unsure if Jones will make the move to meet him at the heavyweight division.

The 32-year old took the step three years after joining the UFC. Jones is still waiting to take the step.

Jones responded to a question about their highly anticipated fight on MMA Weekly, reported by BJPENN. He said: "I see. It is 100 percent.

"We will fight one day. It's not clear where or how it will happen. I have an idea of what will happen.

"But yes, let's see if he gains weight first."

Jones is a Nigerian national who doubts Jones' ability to be a heavyweight.

He believes that if he had the chance to do it, he would have done it already.

Jones has been accumulating pounds to get the step, but Adesanya says it's all for nothing.
