DANA WHITE called for calm after the bust up between Conor McGregor & Machine Gun Kelly.
After The Notorious and MGK scuffled at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night, The UFC boss said he had spoken to both parties.
Conor McGregor was apparently angered at Machine Gun Kelly's refusal of taking a photo
McGregor, an American rapper and MMA legend, almost got into a fight at the glittery awards ceremony after McGregor allegedly hurled a glass of water at MGK when the singer refused a selfie.
According to reports, McGregor invited Megan Fox and MGK to their next fight.
White also spoke to reporters at UFC headquarters and insisted that this was part of the fight game.
He stated that he had spoken to both of them. They are all fine now. It was a misinterpretation, or whatever.
"This is the fight business. Here, I have 700 lunatics under contract.
"What do you guys think? These are the things that sometimes happen. This is not Microsoft. This isn't Microsoft.
McGregor and MGK both have huge stars in their respective fields.
The Irishman is a former champion in the UFC's featherweight and lightweight divisions.
MGK is a chart-topper artist. His last album, Tickets to My Downfall, reached No1 in the US and No3 here in the UK.
McGregor is not afraid to cause havoc outside of the Octagon. Perhaps McGregor's most memorable attack on Khabib Nurmagomedov’s bus before their historic 2018 clash was perhaps his most notorious.
White maintained that there was no problem and that he had everything under control.
He said, "I think Conor's personality is well-known to all of us. We've also got some men who are like Conor."
"These guys fight, and this is the fight industry. In the fight business, crazy things happen."
"There's all the s*** about which you guys are aware because it's public. What about the s*** that's happening every day?
