He is now back in training and hinted that he might face Holloway again, whom he defeated in 2013 after several social media posts.

McGregor uploaded a video of Holloway squaring up on his TV before his fight against Yair Rodriquez (also 29).

After beating Rodriquez in five rounds of a thrilling fight, White decided to drop McGregor's rematch.

He stated that he didn't know what Max's future holds, but that it made sense to see Volkanovski and him again.

"Conor's not even- Conor's still hurt. It's silly to even speak about Conor.

McGregor, 33, fractured his tibia in round one of his trilogy bout with Poirier (32), who he defeated in 2014, but lost his first fight to in January.

After undergoing surgery in Los Angeles, he returned to Ireland to continue his training. He is now free from a leg cast.

White teased McGregor's return next year and discussed it with McGregor.

On the Pardon My Take podcast, he said that he was still one of the top ten guys in the world.

"It will depend on who he is fighting and other things, but Conor's return to the ring is a big deal."

"Eventually, once you get started in that direction, when the guy gets to Conor’s level, this conversation over Nate Diaz is, these guys make big money.

"I want these guys stay around and do as much as possible before it's done."
