Chael Sonnen, a promoter of MMA, has reacted to Conor McGregor's comments about Daniel Cormier's UFC commentaryator Daniel Cormier.
McGregor called Cormier "fat drunk" in a hastily deleted Tweet, but Chael Sonnen saw his words.
McGregor has lost three of his last four fights in UFC
Cormier, 42 is a former dual-weight UFC champion and now works as a commentator with McGregor, 33.
McGregor tweeted then a photo of McGregor, a former heavyweight and light-heavy champ, during UFC 265 last week. He called McGregor a fat drunk before deleting his tweet.
This was just after The Notorious took exception to Cormier’s harsh assessment of his controversial tweet mocking Khabib Nurmagomedov’s father Abdulmanap.
McGregor's comments have been criticized by Chael Sonnen.
He said this in a YouTube video entitled "Conor McGregor TATTLED Daniel Cormier Sonnen": "From Mr. He's now a snitch. Entertainer
"Daniel didn't show up to anything drunk. Guys.
"Do not misunderstand that, but let's just say he did. Conor claimed he did. Conor is now a snitch. He rattled on Conor.
"You made a fuss about one of the boys?"
"Did he commit any wrongdoing? Did he seem obnoxious or rude? He was he unruly
"No. "No. "I just knew." It was there. You tattled on him.
"Extraordinary from the guy who is in the business selling alcohol and shows up to press conferences with a bottle of whisky on his desk."
Sonnen has yet to reply to the comments of the Irish fighter, UFC poster boy. But it would not surprise anyone if The Notorious responds in scathing fashion.
McGregor is currently recuperating from the broken leg he sustained in his second match against Poirier at UFC 264. He lost that match via first-round TKO.
The Notorious snappedBOTHHis fibula, tibia, and fibula were both damaged in the horrific July 11th accident. He underwent surgery on the next day.
Although he is likely to be out of action for at least the next year, he has said that his last fight will not mark the end of his UFC career.
Since his defeat last month, the 33-year old has been captured training with his leg in protective boots.
