McGregor hopes to be back in the Octagon by the winter.

McGregor originally planned to return to sparring in April. However, McGregor's date passed and fans worried that McGregor would not return until 2023.

McGregor posted an Instagram video of himself training kicks using his broken leg.

McGregor didn't hold back and went all-out on the heavy bag. He remarked on his exploits, "They were nice, [they] felt] good."

McGregor captioned his Insta video with the following: "Something like an phenomenon!"

McGregor's latest update amazed his fans and increased their excitement for his UFC return.

One fan commented that "His broken leg doesn’t look broken anymore. That’s good. He will be back soon."

Another comment: "Yes!" The leg looks strong. Conor is at his best with these dynamic kicks.

McGregor made mention of his post-op titanium leg, which he claimed he would use to his advantage upon his return.

The Dubliner had previously stated that he would use the metal bar against his opponents. He wrote on Twitter: "I cannot wait for this steel bar to be wrapped in my leg across the neckof a future adversary!" I count down the seconds before I can launch this weapon.

This phrase is now a part of his lexicon.

One fan wrote: "Titanium Shin Bone Slinging McGregor!" and another added: "The titanium Shin bone is exactly what He needed."

Despite McGregor’s achievements, it seems increasingly likely that he won’t return to the sport until 2023.

UFC President Dana White has disclosed that he has already named a name to remember when his prized asset is returned.

White spoke to TMZ Sport and said that fan favorite Michael Chandler is his ideal opponent for Dubliner.

White stated that he didn't know. After Chandler's last fight, I really liked [Michael] Chandler fighting Conor.

"There are many fights to be had. "I don't know if Masvidal vs. McGregor is the one. But we'll see the landscape when Conor returns."
