Californian hates his grandfather for indoctrinating them

After he said he wanted to 'kill someone in a fight', MMA fans started questioning his mental health.

Strickland was questioned about recent comments he made during an appearance on The MMA Hour. He shared troubling details about being indoctrinated in Neo-Nazi ideology as a child.

He confessed that he was f * ****g mad.

"I was so mad that I went through this bizarre neo-Nazi and white supremacist phase as a child. I got kicked out school for hate crimes, like all the crazy s**t.

"I was angry, and I had many f ****d up influences in my life that made it so easy to f***ing hate someone.

"I would walk down the street carrying a knife or a stone in my hand, hoping to kill someone."

"And when I began training, I was like man, you are just f ****g mad."

Californian, who was exposed to Neo Nazi philosophy by his grandfather, admitted that he filled his head with 'crazy sh**t'.

He said, "My grandfather was like a big piece of s**t.

"You don't see this when you're a child, so you idol-worship. You were just flooded with insane s**t.

"You're seventh grade and you're ranting about Nazis. You don't even understand what that means.

"But, you hear it from someone that you look up too and that identity consumed you."

"Drawing swastikas as I walked to school, like if I didn't understand what the f**k was."

In-form Strickland is ashamed of his past and has come to resent his grandfather for brainwashing his with hateful ideologies.

Strickland's public homicidal thoughts have raised many eyebrows

He stated that "Later, my grandfather died and I kinda resented it for it." Racism is a barrier to success in life.

"You're f ****d man. It's not a privilege to be racist. I was furious with him for most of my life."

Strickland has not sought medical attention for his homicidal thoughts. However, he doesn’t see the UFC giving him the boot because he is open about them.

He stated that he is very friendly when he meets people. I am polite and nice if you have ever met me.

"And I was like changing my tires and this guy walks past me and I'm like, "Hey, what's the matter?" Have a wonderful day.

"And he kinda gave me a head nod. And as I'm talking with him, I'm considering taking this f***ing tireiron and f***ing breaking his skull open.

"It made me so mad because I know what it is and I'm trying hard to be f***ing kind to you to make my thoughts heard.

"So again, it's not something I worry about, even if somebody were to make me do that. "How can you make someone feel guilty about that?"

Strickland will be facing Luke Rockhold, the former champion middleweight, next weekend at UFC 268 Madison Square Garden.

Rockhold was however forced to withdraw due to a herniated disk in his back.
